Tic-Tac-Go overview
Tic-Tac-Go turns noughts and crosses into a 6 × 6 push puzzle. Move the glowing O, push loose X and O tiles, and use the player character as part of a horizontal or vertical three-O line across 100 deterministic levels.
Controls and modes
Move with Arrow keys or WASD, swipe, or drag across the board. Z undoes, Y redoes, and R resets the layout; the on-screen Undo and Redo buttons can be held to move through history quickly.
Strategy tips
- Remember that the moving character counts as an O, so it can complete the target line without moving another tile.
- Work backwards from the two fixed O tiles and identify the square the player must eventually occupy.
- Avoid pushing pieces against a wall or into a blocked corner unless that is their final position.
- Watch every X after a push. Making three X marks horizontally or vertically ends the attempt, but Undo can recover it.
Tic-Tac-Go questions
Do diagonal lines count?
No. Only horizontal and vertical groups of three are checked.
Does the game save progress?
It stores the current level and each puzzle’s best move count and time in local browser storage.
